The Atlanta Alumni Association of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. created the Emmanuel Lajara Bonilla Memorial Scholarship to commemorate our brother and award students that demonstrate the qualities of rising leaders, scholars, and assets to their community
Application
1. Submit Name, Major, and Extracurricular Activities
2. Copy of your resume
3. An unofficial copy of your transcript
4. Applicants must answer one of the three following essay prompts focused around (minimum of 500 words)
- Choose a historical figure, write about their impact and how their legacy has effected you.
- What does it mean to be a leader?
- Research Pan-Americanism and describe if it is attainable today. Why or Why not?

Award
- Two scholars will be selected to each receive $500 to assist with tuition
Eligibility requirements
- Enrolled at one of the following universities:
- Augusta University
- Emory University
- Georgia Gwinnett College
- Georgia State University
- Georgia Southern
- Georgia Tech
- Kennesaw State University
- University of Georgia
- Rising Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
