The 1931 Foundation is committed to making a positive impact in our communities and the world. That’s why we have developed a range of initiatives to address some of the most pressing issues facing society today.

Through our initiatives, we aim to make a positive impact in our communities and the world. Together, we can make a difference and build a better world for all.
The National Hispanic Institute creates experiences that engage achieving high school and collegiate youth in community leadership roles that advance our quality of life.
The NHI provides its youth with a continuum of leadership programs that include the Great Debate, the Lorenzo de Zavala Youth Legislative Session, the Collegiate World Series, and, the Collegiate Leadership Network.
With the shared mission of developing leaders, this partnership helps both organizations reach its goals.
The 1931 Foundation and Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. collaborated to create the “Nuestra America Initiative”.
This initiative supports the missions, ideals, and visions of both organizations by supporting six non-profits with 501c3 status that are selected from the submissions provided by members of Phi Iota Alpha.
