The 1931 Foundation is excited to announce the success of another GivingTuesday campaign, surpassing expectations by raising an outstanding $2,696 in donations. This achievement not only exceeded the set fundraising goal of $1,931 but also demonstrates the unwavering support from a community dedicated to making a meaningful impact
GivingTuesday, a global movement that inspires charitable giving, took place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. This day encourages individuals worldwide to contribute to nonprofit organizations, fostering positive change within their communities.
The $2,696 raised during this campaign will play a pivotal role in sustaining the F.I.A. Merit Scholarship, an initiative by The 1931 Foundation. This scholarship acknowledges and supports deserving Phi Iota Alpha undergraduates and graduate students who exhibit outstanding academic achievement and chapter leadership. The financial assistance provided by the scholarship directly contributes to alleviating the burden of college expenses for these commendable students.
A total of 32 generous donors rallied behind The 1931 Foundation’s cause, with an additional boost from three matching gifts. This outpouring of support exemplifies the commitment of individuals who share the vision of empowering students through education.
