Phi Iota Alpha & The 1931 Foundation Announces 2023 Nuestra America Initiative Non-Profit Beneficiaries

The 1931 Foundation and Phi Iota Alpha are proud to announce the non-profit organizations selected as beneficiaries of the Nuestra America Initiative in 2023. The initiative, which aims to support and empower Latino communities through philanthropy and social impact initiatives, has selected the following organizations:

– Border Angels, a non-profit organization that aims to create a world without borders through education, direct aid, and advocacy.

– Centreville Immigration Forum, which helps immigrants and refugees with legal services, education, and community support.

– Guys/Girls Operating as Leaders (GOAL), a non-profit organization that provides education and training for Latino youth.

– Latino Victory Fund, a political action committee that supports Latino candidates and promotes Latino engagement in the political process.

-Second Harvest of the Big Bend, a food bank that serves 11 counties in Florida and provides food to those in need.

Since the establishment of the Nuestra America Initiative, a total of $18,937.32 has been donated to 12 non-profit organizations. The 1931 Foundation and Phi Iota Alpha will be working closely with these organizations to support their efforts and make a meaningful impact in the Latino community.
